As an active mommy with three children, I never thought that blogging could be my new hobby aside from doing several responsibilities at home and with my family. I started out writing down notes last year and my friend told me about what she did with her notes. Fortunately, my friend wrote some articles and she is the one who taught me about blogging.

I admire what she does and I became interested with blogging since then. Therefore, in the shortest possible time, I started out writing my stuff or everything what came out to my mind. I must admit that blogging helped me a lot to express my ideas and share what it can do for me as part of releasing my stress.

Since last year, I became active with blogging and my friend visited me and taught me on what to do with my blog writings. She stayed for couple of hours in my place and she did many things with my blog page settings. Then after teaching me, she mentioned about Smorty. Mommy's Meeting for the Graduation

This afternoon we had a meeting in the school. We discuss about the up coming graduation of the preparatory students. We mommy's appear to the principal and teacher of our children that there should be a graduation rights, because as per the Superintendent announced to the teacher that there will be no graduation for the Kinder and Preparatory students due to some parents in other school did not agree for graduation fees. And this issue was reached to the Department of Education officer, that's why they meet the teachers and not let the Kinder and Preparatory to have graduation rights only recognition is allowed.

Today, we parents write a letter to the Superintendent to allow us to have a graduation rights. We furnish a three copies of our signature and sent to the Superintendent so they will allow us to have a graduation. We mommy's are excited to have a graduation, by seeing our kids wearing toga, we're very excited to see them marching and one more is only one time they experience this occasion during their early childhood.

At Gumbo Restaurant at MOA

Last Saturday night we went to dine at Gumbo restaurant at the Mall of Asia. Our friends Che and Steve treated us. The restaurant is located at the front view of bay at 2nd floor of Mall of Asia. We have a bountiful dinner, the restaurant is affordable and they have a very accommodating crews. This photo is taken at the restaurant, we order this dessert, they call this as their special New Orleans pudding, its yummy licious, with ice cream on top of it.

Oh my God! It's been 8 days since we started the free noodles feeding. Today. we tried another recipe for it, instead of putting some soup on it we make it canton. We take out the water and put some soy sauce and some cooking oil, to ease the ever noodles taste. hehhehe

Hotel Reservations

When the last time I went in the United Kingdom, it was been a great pleasure and experienced for me because my boss, children and I was so excited seeing the place in with our own two eyes. Upon arriving at Heathrow Airport, we were wondering where to stay in London. Because, we were not able to get any Hotel Reservations so what we did at that time we took a taxicab and ask the taxicab driver to take us in a nearby hotel, so we can take our rest before exploring the city of London.

So, after an hour we were able took a decent apartment plot which was offered by the taxicab driver which is own by his mother. The place was not that comfortable and do not have enough facilities to use. Therefore, my boss decided to transfer to a hotel after staying in that apartment for 3 days. After staying in London, we traveled to Pleasure Island at Blackpool, England we were able to get a hotel. Unfortunately, we failed to get Hotel Discounts because we already took the first hotel we had found the time we arrived at that place.

Traveling to such place was really a great experienced for me, because I had seen different beautiful places in the United Kingdom. Blackpool tower was the most unforgettable landmark I had ever seen there. Because it is where the movie film King Kong was shoot. However, it could have been the perfect vacation experience for us if we were manages to have a hotel reservation. I personally advice anyone to take plan before going to any place in order us to choose and select the right and affordable hotel accommodation from different Hotels in the United Kingdom for us and other travelers around the world enjoy a hassle free vacation in any part of the world.

Kiddie Holiday

Yesterday, the teacher announced to all parents that the Olympic holiday for the preparatory students is set on February 15, 2008. There will be a parade and sports fest for the kids. They should wear yellow t-shirt and green jogging pants on this occasion. We were so excited 'coz at last the Kiddie Holiday is set up. All mom's were present yesterday to talk about where to buy t-shirt and other things needed. Well, goodluck kids! Have a great fun! Love from all mommy's.

Today, I got a good news from Angelo's teacher. I was outside of the school building when suddenly, one of my co-parents approached me. I was surprise why the teacher is calling me. So, I hurry up and I approach the teacher why she's calling me. The teacher had told me "Mrs. Allanza I've chosen your son Angelo for the upcoming spelling contest, and please guide him and practice him for the coming contest" other parents said, "why not the top 1 or 2 you did'nt choose teacher," then the teacher answered them back, "I've chosen Angelo because he was the best student for this contest as per record shows Angelo has a consistent record based on his scores". I didn't expect that my son was the chosen one. :)

Free Noodles

Yesterday we have parents meeting in the school of my son. We talk about the free noodles feeding tor the kids. The teacher said, that we are not allowed to bring home the noodles for the kids, instead we have to cook the noodles in the school and feed to the kids during breaktime. So, we decided to contribute for the things we need for cooking, like the gasul, pans, and other things needed for cooking. We only contribute 7.00 pesos for the gasul and the rest are assigned to bring the things needed for our cooking. So, the feeding is ready on Monday for the free noodles which the Department of Education distributed it for the children. Thanks to all my co-parents who attended the meeting and contributed for the cooking. We are all cooperative.....hehhehehe :)

Gelo's Favorite Home Made Chinese Rice

Today I cooked chinese rice for our lunch. My son gelo ate 2 bowls of chinese rice, he said to me, that I should cook again for our dinner so I cooked for him again. What can I do, that's his favorite food.

Gelo Made It To Top 7th!

January 7, 2008 is the first day of the resuming school days for my son Gelo. It was quite so exciting, because when we arrived to school the least of the top ten in their class was posted. I was so amazed that my son made it from top 7th during 2nd grading period. In fact, he was top 9th on their 1st grading, so he jumped on 2 levels, a big clap!!!! Hep..hep…hooray! its really a big applause for my son

Oh Yeah! I Got My Own Computer

Oh yeah! Its true, my husband bought me a computer. Although its second hand I really appreciated it. Coz its coming from the bottom of his heart on buying it. Infact, he bought this computer on the rush hour, I mean imagine the shop closes on 7:00 o'clock pm, and he only left here in the house about 5:00 pm and he commuted from Las Pinas to Makati during that rush hour. Uh! He got there on the shop about 6:15 pm. A big thank you, now I can sit on my own computer without my son disturbing me during my chatting with my sister and friends.

Delicious "Pancit Alamid"

Pancit Alamid is the favorite food in our family, we cooked during special occassions like Christmas, New Year's and Birthday's. Last New Year, Pancit Alamid is one of our menu, everytime we cooked this food we remember our dear Nanay Neri, who is the founder of this recipe in our family. She cooks deliciously, infact we call it "Pancit Vietnam" coz my grandma Nanay Neri, learned the recipe from her vietnamese friend. Thanks to Nanay Neri for the recipe she left with the family.
