Beautiful Corregidor

This is one of the tourist spots in the Philippines. It is the entrance site of the ships going to Manila Bay. This island is 48 kilometers west of Manila and the shape is like a sperm. It is located at Southeast Asia. Corregidor is served as the site of the naval defense of the capital city of Manila during the World War II.

Today, Corregidor is a tourist attraction, many travel tours offers day tour in the island. They also offer package tours for the tourist to stay in the Corregidor. Corregidor is a historic monument, you will see all the monuments of the different leaders who participated the war. like General McArthur of America. In honor of the Filipino and American soldiers who participated in the World War II, the United States Government built the Pacific War Memorial at the top of the Corregidor area and this cost three million dollars. This project was completed in 1968.

In Corregidor you will experience the history of the world war II which our ancestors had experience. That’s why so many veterans visit the Corregidor because of its history.
